Why I am opening this up.
I taught this first for the AUC Data Science Initiative and Johns Hopkins in June 2026: three nights, about fifty students from HBCUs across the country, most of them starting from zero. By the third night they were pitching agents they built themselves.
The thing I hear most before a workshop is not "what is AI". It is "I think I'm too old to learn this". Then the same person describes the job they want handled, every rule and every exception, in thirty seconds. That description is the whole thing you type in. This is my answer: one night, online, one agent, built by you, doing a job you are tired of doing.

Business owners, creatives and anyone tired of doing the same task every week. You need no code and no AI experience. If you are brand new to AI, start with the free AI 101 on October 9.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the job in plain English. The building is clicking, pasting, and testing. If you can write a text message, you can do this.
What do I need?
A laptop or desktop with a browser, and a free Claude account (recommended) or a free ChatGPT account, set up before 7 PM. Bring one task you want handled and a few real examples of it. Phones are fine for watching but not for building.
Do I have to pay for the tools?
Not on the night. Everything we build runs on free accounts. If you want to use your agent every day afterward, that may take one subscription of about $20 a month on the platform you choose. I say that now so there are no surprises later.
What does it cost?
An online seat is $75 early bird through Friday, October 16, then $90. A seat in the studio, building next to me, is $125, and there are only 15. People who were in the free AI 101 class on October 9 get $65 for 72 hours, until Monday, October 12 at 9 PM CT, with the email they signed in with that night.
Is it online or in person?
Both. Most seats are online, live on the Taylormade Academy player. There are also 15 seats in my Dallas studio; the address comes in your ticket email. Your ticket email has the sign-in link; you sign in with a free Academy account and the room opens at 6:45 PM CT. It is one-way video with a live chat, so you can ask questions the whole way through. It is not a Zoom call, and nobody sees your camera.
What if I cannot make October 23?
You can get a full refund up to 7 days before the workshop. If you are not sure yet, start with the free AI 101 on October 9 and decide after.
What is the refund policy?
